DECT
(Digital European Cordless Telephone) Der aktuelle und zukünftige Standard für schnurlose Telefone, die mit digitaler Übertragung zwischen Basisstationen und Handgeräten arbeiten. Die Basisstation wird wie bei schnurgebundenen Endgeräten an das ISDN oder an das herkömmliche Telefonnetz angeschlossen – also nicht zu verwechseln mit Telefonen für Mobilfunknetze.
